Name: Phakamisile Zulu

Tell me about yourself: I was born in Durban and I currently live in Chesterville. I worked as a supervisor in a clothing factory for 20 years in the Free State. I came back to Durban in 2005 and worked some temporary jobs until I met Mandie and starting working for her at the beginning of 2018.

Why do you like working here: I like working for Trinity because I want to learn more about fashion. Mandie is very easy to work for and if there is something I do not understand, she helps me understand by working together and teaching me.

Name: Patience Shangase

Tell me about yourself: I was born in Lamontville, Durban and I have lived in KZN my whole life. I currently live in Inanda. I worked for a clothing company called Life Authentic Avoka for 19 years as a supervisor and seamstress. I then worked part time for a small clothing company in Redhill where I then met Mandie and began working for her in 2018.

Why do you like working here: I like working here because I want to learn more about fashion so that I can one day open my own clothing boutique. I like working for Mandie because she has lots of experience and if I have a problem, she is very easy to talk to.

Name: Sthembile Gumede

Tell me about yourself: I was born in Durban and have lived here all my life. I live with my young child and husband in Inanda. I started working for Mandie in 2016.

Why do you like working here: Mandie is a very nice person to work for, she is very helpful and makes the working environment very calm and relaxed. I look forward to coming to work each day. If there are any problems, she is always ready and willing to help.

Name: Toyah Kent

Tell me about yourself: I was born in Durban and have lived in Cape Town and Johannesburg whilst growing up. I moved back to Durban in 2009 and finished school in 2011. After school I worked part time jobs not knowing what I wanted to do with my life until 2016 when I met Mandie. She had just opened up her first store in Windermere Centre where I work in store for 2 years. I then got a promotion and I have been working as her assistant and office manager.

Why do you like working here: I have loved everyday that I have worked at Trinity because Mandie has made me feel like an asset to her business and not just another employee. She has taught me so much about the fashion industry and she continues to help me grow as a person and in my career each day. I look forward to coming to work everyday!
